Engineering student killed in Abdullapurmet road accident

The incident occurred at Batasingaram when two two-wheelers collided head-on on a service road. Police said three female students were riding on one of the bikes when the collision caused them to fall onto the road. 

At the same time, a lorry passing alongside ran



over one of the students, identified as Hamsalekha (22), killing her on the spot.

She was a resident of Dilsukhnagar. The other two students sustained serious injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. 

Their condition is reported to be serious. The students were on their way to write an examination when the accident occurred.
