Nirmal: At least eight farm labourers sustained injuries after a swarm of bees attacked them while they were sowing cotton seeds at Jhari village in Thanur mandal on Tuesday.

According to sources, the bees were disturbed when children playing

cricket near the hives accidentally provoked them. The labourers, who were working in a nearby cotton field, were stung and had to be rushed to a hospital in Bhainsa.

Their condition is reported to be stable.
