The Election Commission of India (ECI) is set to issue notifications for elections to two graduates’ constituencies – Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad and Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda – in the month of February and polling is likely to be held in February/March, 2027.

Elections to these two constituencies are being conducted as the incumbent graduates’ MLCs Surabhi Vani Devi and Chintapandu Naveen’s (Teenmar Mallanna) tenure is concluding in the month of March.

Telangana Chief Electoral Office C Sudharsan Reddy said they are gearing up for polling and registration process is already underway.

“The election notification is expected in the month of February. We will take all necessary steps to ensure that the election process is

completed by March,” he said.

“The enrolment may increase by another two lakh as the next phase registration will begin on December 10. There will be time until the final electoral roll is prepared,” he said.

The Telangana CEO is preparing electoral rolls for the two constituencies, with November 1, 2026, as the qualifying date. Applications can be submitted online through the CEO website, https://ceotelangana.nic.in.

Alternatively, Form-18, along with the required documents and certificates, can be submitted in person to the Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs), designated officers or additional designated officers. Applications can also be sent by post to the ERO, AERO or designated officer.
