In another major crackdown on drug trafficking, the Rachakonda Special Operations Team along with local police busted an interstate drug peddling racket, nabbed a 17-year-old juvenile, and seized 5.1 kg of hashish oil worth Rs 1.15 crore in Ghatkesar on Friday.
The arrested minor, from Alluri Sitharamaraju district of Andhra Pradesh, was reportedly working as a courier for Debendra Jhodia alias
Srinu of Chitrakonda, Odisha. The duo allegedly conspired to transport hashish oil from Odisha to Hyderabad and sell it for easy money.
According to police, as part of their plan, Srinu supplied 5.1 kg of hashish oil to the juvenile, who boarded a train to Hyderabad. Upon arrival at Ghatkesar railway station on Friday morning, he was detained after police teams found his movements suspicious
