Driver Asleep, 350 Litres of Diesel Stolen From Lorry

In a shocking incident, unidentified miscreants allegedly stole nearly 350 litres of diesel from a stationary lorry while its driver was asleep.
The incident occurred when the lorry was parked near Durga Hotel on the Kodad–Hyderabad National Highway.
According to the victim, the thieves broke open the lorry's diesel tank using iron rods and stole around 350 litres of

The driver alleged that the stolen diesel was hidden in a car bearing registration number AP30A1377. The victim lodged a complaint with the Chityal Police Station, and police have initiated an investigation.
Lorry drivers have urged the police to intensify night patrols, stating that incidents of diesel theft have been increasing on national highways.
