Domestic Cylinders worth Rs.1.50 Cr Seized in Telangana

The Telangana Civil Supplies Corporation is continuously monitoring to ensure that domestic consumers do not face any inconvenience in gas supply. 

Following directions from the Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and the State Civil Supplies Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy, officials are keeping strict surveillance and conducting surprise inspections against those illegally storing or diverting gas



cylinders.

To ensure that the supply process of domestic cylinders is carried out on time as per regulations, bookings and deliveries are being checked daily with respective agencies through command control. 

In raids conducted over the past month, vigilance officials seized 5,079 domestic cylinders and another 70 small cylinders that were being illegally transported and stored. Their total value is Rs.1.5 crore.
