Distressed Over Aunt's Death, Student Attempts Suicide in Kamareddy

A 17-year-old class 10 student allegedly attempted suicide at a hostel in Sadashivanagar mandal of Kamareddy district.

According to reports, the student lost his aunt two days ago. Deeply distressed by her death and struggling with being away from his family, he



allegedly attempted to hang himself in the hostel. 

Another student noticed the incident and immediately alerted the hostel staff, who rushed him to the Government Hospital in Kamareddy for treatment. The student is reported to be out of danger.
