The Telangana Police are implementing a new number ‘112’ to help people reach the police, fire department, ambulance, disaster relief and women & child safety.
Director General of Police, Dr Jitender, said Telangana Police, along with emergency partners, are providing swift response and help to people who are in crisis. “Emergencies are stressful, we want to assure you that
our priority is to reduce your burden by providing prompt and professional service. The Telangana police is to assure that no individual feels alone while in crisis,” said Dr Jitender.
The 112 call centre will be manned by Telangana Police and functions from the Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre Building located at Banjara Hills.
