DGP Shivadhar Warns of Strict Action on Corruption, Urges Integrity

Director-General of Police B Shivadhar Reddy instructed every officer, from Home Guards to IPS officers, to serve with integrity, compassion, and accountability.

Shivadhar Reddy’s message assumed significance following the arrest of several police personnel by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in connection with bribe cases. 

Two days ago, the ACB nabbed U. K. Siddeshwar, a Sub-Inspector of Police (SI) and Sampathi Kanakaiah, Inspector RGIA Police Outpost, when they demanded a bribe of Rs.5 lakh and accepted a bribe amount of Rs.2 lakh from the complainant.
