Director-General of Police B Shivadhar Reddy instructed every officer, from Home Guards to IPS officers, to serve with integrity, compassion, and accountability.
While many uphold these values, recent ACB actions are a reminder that deviation will invite strict consequences. “Our goal remains clear – Fair, Firm, Friendly and Professional. Anyone can report corruption to 1064,” he said in a post on

Shivadhar Reddy’s message assumed significance following the arrest of several police personnel by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in connection with bribe cases.
Two days ago, the ACB nabbed U. K. Siddeshwar, a Sub-Inspector of Police (SI) and Sampathi Kanakaiah, Inspector RGIA Police Outpost, when they demanded a bribe of Rs.5 lakh and accepted a bribe amount of Rs.2 lakh from the complainant.
