DGP Shivadhar Reddy 'Telangana Free from Maoists Activities'

In continuation of the surrender of senior CPI Maoist leaders, followed by the subsequent surrender of 130 cadres along with 124 firearms, an additional 42 Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) cadres surrendered before the Telangana police.
They surrendered before Director-General of Police B Shivadhar Reddy here on Friday.
These 42 CPI (Maoist) cadres include PLGA Battalion Commander and Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee (DKSZC) Member
Sodi Malla alias Keshal alias Nikhil; Chapa Narayana alias Gajendar, SCM, JMMWP DVC Secretary, Kadthi Sannu alias Manthu, DVCM, BKASR DVC join the mainstream along with 36 firearms and 800 grams of gold.

With today’s surrender, it is declared that the entire Telangana State Committee (TSC) has been effectively neutralised, eliminating its organisational presence in Telangana. Telangana is completely free of armed components and naxalism.
