Deputy CM Bhatti 'Education is True Weapon for Progress'

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu here on Thursday stated that only education can empower the children of Telangana to grow and succeed. 

He emphasized that no other force can uplift society like education, which alone can build an equitable and progressive social order.

On Thursday, he distributed free bicycles to students of government schools and colleges at Bonakal mandal headquarters under the Amma Foundation



initiative.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the recent socio-economic, educational, employment, and caste survey (SEEEPC) conducted by the state government clearly shows that development is possible only through education. No child in the state should go to school hungry. 

A hungry student cannot concentrate or understand lessons properly. Keeping this in mind, the government will launch a breakfast scheme for 20 lakh students studying in government schools from June 2.
