Dense fog to envelop Hyderabad

The IMD Hyderabad has forecast dense fog with chances of it extending well into the remaining winter season.Cold weather conditions continued to prevail across the State with the Hyderabad recording 12 degree Celsius during the last 24 hours. Adilabad district recorded the lowest temperature of 7 degree Celsius followed by 9.7 degree Celsius in Medak and 11.4 degree Celsius in Ramagundam.

IMD said that fog could be severe in the city during the early hours.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) attributes the prevailing weather conditions to a low pressure area over south Andaman Sea and its adjoining south-east Bay of Bengal, which now lies over southeast Bay and the adjoining sea.
On the other hand, private weather forecast agency, Skymet Weather predicted seasonal weather with mist or haze to prevail over Telangana during early morning hours.
