Air travel between Hyderabad and Varanasi was disrupted on Friday morning after dense fog reduced visibility at Varanasi airport.
IndiGo and SpiceJet cancelled their scheduled flights from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, due to adverse weather conditions.
As per reports, two
flights that had already departed from Hyderabad were forced to turn back mid-air as conditions in Varanasi did not improve. Both aircraft returned safely and landed back in Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, airlines have advised passengers to stay updated on flight schedules as weather-related disruptions continued.
