There appears to be no respite from the increasing number of cases of fever across Telangana. As many as 14 dengue fever cases have been reported in the two State-run Osmania General Hospital and Gandhi Hospital in the last two days.

As many as 150-160 viral fever cases were reported in Gandhi Hospital in last one week and nearly 37 dengue fever cases were reported in

Gandhi and Osmania General Hospitals during this period.

Superintendent of Gandhi Hospital J Venkateshwar Reddy said that the main reason for the increase of diseases among the people was the weather conditions. He further said that weather was an important factor, because the organisms which grow in such weather would attack if a person’s body was weak.
