Decomposed body of women found at Cherlapally railway station

A decomposed body of a woman stuffed inside a gunny bag was discovered near Charlapalli Railway Station in Hyderabad, causing alarm in the area. Police said the recovery was made after a foul smell was noticed coming from the bag.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the woman, believed to be aged between 30 and 40 years, may have been murdered



two days ago.

According to an auto driver, several passengers had gathered at the station yesterday to board a train to Bihar, and the abandoned bag was spotted shortly after.

Police have deployed a dog squad and are examining CCTV footage to identify those involved. A case has been registered and investigation is underway.
