Cybercrime recovers Rs 2 crore and nab 43 people in December

The Hyderabad Cybercrime officials, through intensified operations, recovered over Rs. 2 crore of fraud money and nabbed 43 persons from across the country who were involved in various cybercrime cases during December 2025.

The Cybercrime police, during the month, received 266 complaints through the National



Cybercrime Reporting Portal (NCRP), leading to the registration of 144 FIRs. 

The Zonal Cyber Cells received 2,195 complaints, of which 80 cases were converted into FIRs. In these cases, 15 suspects were arrested from different parts of the country and an amount of Rs. 72.36 lakh was refunded to victims.
