Cyberabad SOT busts unauthorised late-night party in Moinabad

he Cyberabad Special Operations Team (SOT) busted an unauthorised late-night liquor party at ‘The Pendent’ farmhouse at Himayathnagar in Moinabad on the outskirts on Thursday night.

The Rajendranagar SOT team conducted surprise checks and reportedly detained Andhra Pradesh MLC Duvvada Srinivas and his partner Divvala Madhuri for allegedly hosting the event without any prior permission. They were let off



later.

According to information available, the couple organised a birthday celebration for Madhuri at the farmhouse, during which liquor was served and hookah was used in violation of excise and public safety regulations.

Police seized atleast 10 foreign liquor bottles and hookah equipment from the spot.

Preliminary information suggests that atleast 30 people were present including a few political associates, at the gathering.
