Cyberabad Police rescue 664 children 'Operation Muskaan-XII'

The Cyberabad Police rescued 664 children during Operation Muskaan-XII, a month-long special drive conducted across the commissionerate from July 1 to July 31. 

The operaton is aimed at tracing missing children and rescuing minors from child labour, begging, rag-picking and other hazardous situations.

As part of the operation, the Cyberabad Police constituted seven special teams, each comprising one Sub-Inspector, four police constables and one woman police



constable. 

The teams conducted inspections at industries, factories, companies, shops, construction sites and other establishments to identify and rescue children engaged in child labour. 

They also carried out a special drive to identify children involved in begging. The details of all rescued children were uploaded to the DARPAN (Digital Analysis for Reunification and Protection of At-Risk Children) application for rehabilitation and further monitoring.
