Cyberabad Police Orders Closure of Wine Shops, Bars 'Hanuman Jayanthi'

The Cyberabad police ordered closure of wine and toddy shops, and bars attached to restaurants on Thursday from 10 am to 10 pm on account of Hanuman Jayanthi. 

In exercise of the powers vested in under Section 20 Telangana State Excise Act



1968.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh ordered that in interest of public peace and tranquility the wine and toddy shops and bars attached to restaurants excluding bars in star hotels and registered clubs in Cyberabad shall remain closed.
