In a move aimed at modernising urban traffic regulation, the Cyberabad Police held detailed discussions on adopting an Artificial Intelligence-driven predictive traffic management system.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner M Ramesh on Wednesday led deliberations on integrating smart technologies to address rising congestion, improve signal



coordination and strengthen road safety enforcement.

Officials were briefed on an advanced AI model developed by Zurich-based firm Transcality. The company’s CEO, Dr. Lucas Ambul, explained how predictive analytics can study real-time traffic data, anticipate bottlenecks and automatically adjust signal timings to ensure smoother vehicle flow.
