Cyberabad police book 928 drunk driving cases 'New Year'

A total of 928 persons were caught driving under the influence of alcohol by Cyberabad police during drunken driving checking conducted on Wednesday night. Cases were booked against them.

The vehicle-wise breakup includes 695 two-wheelers, 31 three-wheelers, 199



four-wheelers, and 3 heavy vehicles. 

The driving licence of the offenders is seized and forwarded to the concerned RTA offices for suspension under Section 19 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, said Gajarao Bhupal, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Cyberabad.
