Cyberabad Police advises staggered early logouts today 'Heavy Rain forecast'

In view of the forecast of moderate to heavy rainfall in parts of Hyderabad on Monday evening, the Cyberabad Police has issued a traffic advisory, urging companies, educational institutions and other organisations to allow staggered early logouts for employees and students.

The advisory recommended beginning early departures from 3:30 pm to reduce traffic congestion, minimise travel-related risks and ensure the smooth movement of emergency services during adverse weather



conditions.

Police said the measure was aimed at easing pressure on road infrastructure and enhancing public safety, as heavy rain is expected to impact traffic movement across key corridors in the Cyberabad region.

While IMD Hyderabad has issued a warning of severe thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds for districts till 4 pm on Monday, independent weather trackers have issued a specific thunderstorm alert for Hyderabad from Monday evening till the early hours of Tuesday.
