Cyberabad officials inspect flood-prone areas ahead of monsoon

For the ensuing monsoon season, field visits across Cyberabad civic body limits were carried out by the officials to review conditions and implement preemptive measures to prevent water stagnation on roads and avoid traffic disruptions.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner, M Ramesh, along with Cyberabad Municipal Commissioner G Srijana, visited several locations identified as prone to water stagnation during the monsoon. As part of the inspection, they reviewed site conditions with engineering department officials



and issued recommendations on actions required.

The officials? team inspected areas near Care Hospital at Malcolm Lake ? Biodiversity Junction in the IT corridor, where roads get affected by flooding during heavy rains. 

They also identified monsoon-related water stagnation points at Hyderabad Central University Road and Kondapur?s Harsha Toyota Showroom Junction, among other locations, and instructed officials to take steps towards a permanent solution, according to a press release.
