Commissioner of Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) G Srijana on Monday announced a new initiative of ‘no posters in public spaces’ within civic body limits.
The decision was taken by the civic body as part of its move to regulate the display of posters across public areas under its jurisdiction. The implementation will apply across CMC limits, covering public spaces where posters have commonly been placed.
A press release on Monday stated
that the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) took forward the ‘No Posters in Public Spaces’ initiative to keep roads, junctions and other public areas free from unauthorised posters and visual clutter as part of its efforts to keep public spaces clean and well-maintained.
The initiative aimed to improve the appearance of public spaces, maintain clear and unobstructed roads and junctions, and promote a cleaner and more organised urban environment across Cyberabad, it said.
