Couple Injured After SUV Driven By Minor Hits Them In Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: A man and his wife sustained serious injuries in Hyderabad on Sunday in a road accident involving an SUV which was allegedly being driven by a minor, police said.
The incident occurred around 3.30 pm at Pragati Nagar locality and the couple has been admitted to a hospital,

A case under section 338 of IPC (causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) has been registered, police said, adding that efforts were on to nab those responsible for the incident.

Mohammed khan Says:It is being observed that a no: of kids and minors 6 to 15 years now a days are driving motorcycles or cars even with high speed on the roads and making accidents. They don't possess driving license. This incident is also one among them. There is no control over them by there parents. In such cases it would be desirable to catch the elders of minors and punish them beside seizing the vehicles. The medical charges of the persons who met with accident and the cost on repairing the vehicles should also be collected from them.
