Couple dies by suicide in Bachupally

A couple died by suicide hours apart in Bachupally on Wednesday, reportedly due to domestic disputes.

According to the police, Valpuri Durgangini (22) was married to Valpuri Srinivasulu in 2019. The couple lived in the watchman quarters of a building in Mithila Nagar, Bachupally.

On Wednesday morning, Durgangini allegedly hanged herself in their home,



reportedly depressed over frequent quarrels with her husband over minor issues.

Later in the afternoon, Srinivasulu, fearing legal consequences, also died by suicide by hanging himself at another house in the locality.

The Bachupally police have registered two separate cases and are investigating the incident.
