Former MP B Vinod Kumar criticised the Congress for using former cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin’s proposed Cabinet berth as bait to woo minority voters in the Jubilee Hills bypoll. He questioned the Congress’ suddent out the minorities, after remaining two years in power.

“For two years, the minorities were ignored. Did the Chief Minister remember them only now?” he asked.

During his poll

campaign in Jubilee Hills constituency on Thursday, Vinod Kumar pointed out that several welfare schemes launched under former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao‘s regime, including Shaadi Mubarak, KCR Kits and pensions for the disabled, were halted across Telangana.

He exuded confidence that the people would elect BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha Gopinath with a huge majority, considering the welfare initiatives under BRS regime.
