The Telangana Congress leaders have begun their efforts pacify former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, who was an aspirant for the party ticket from the Jubilee Hills Assembly. With the party high command choosing Naveen Yadav as its candidate, Anjan Kumar Yadav made no bones about his displeasure and had planned to raise a banner of revolt.
Sensing that the senior Congress leader’s revolt could affect the chances of Naveen Yadav, party leaders have now
begun efforts to placate Anjan Kumar Yadav.
Anjan Kumar Yadav, was extremely keen on contesting the by-election on Congress ticket and had even conducted different programmes in the constituency. Citing his seniority in the party, he exuded confidence that his candidature would be approved by the party leadership.
However, he was left disappointed after Naveen Kumar Yadav’s candidature was announced by the party high command.
