Telangana Jagruthi Founder K Kavitha on Wednesday accused the Congress-led state government of violating constitutional norms by using bulldozers to demolish the homes of 750 people in Khammam city in a single day. 

Kavitha, while speaking to media, said, "The Congress Party, led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, claims to support the Constitution, yet the Congress government here is acting entirely against it.

were forcibly evicted in a single day, and bulldozers were used to tear down their homes.

Following this, three ministers claimed that more than half of the evicted people had certificates, so why were the bulldozers used?... This is why we staged a hunger strike. 

We went to Khammam and led a large protest, yet the government remained unmoved... But after our hunger strike was announced, the government began to backtrack..."
