Congress govt is acting like real estate company, says KTR

BRS working president KT Rama Rao called out the Congress government, accusing it of demolishing houses of the poor to raise funds and serve real estate interests of its leaders.

Amid increasing incidents of demolitions, Rama Rao stated that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy promised to send Rs 1,000 crore to the Gandhi family and was now trying to mobilise money by clearing slums and selling valuable urban



land. 

“While bulldozing the homes of the poor, the Chief Minister is building his second palace in Hyderabad and spending Rs 9 crore just on compound walls to fortify his existing palace,” he charged.

He shared satellite images of Velugumatla in Khammam, showing homes during the BRS regime and debris left behind after their demolition under the Congress rule, calling it “Progressive Governance V Bulldozer Governance.”
