Congress consistently failed to deliver on poll promises: KTR

BRS working president KT Rama Rao criticised the Congress government for allegedly failing to fulfil its electoral promises after coming to power on what he described as false assurances. He expressed confidence that the BRS would return to power in the next Assembly elections.

He was speaking at Telangana Bhavan on the occasion of senior tribal leaders and former elected representatives from Utnoor and Indravelli mandals of Khanapur constituency joining the BRS in the presence of constituency in-charge Bhukya



Johnson Naik. Among those who joined the party were Youth Congress Khanapur constituency president and former Kothaguda sarpanch Atram Rahul, former MPTC members, deputy sarpanches and several senior tribal leaders from the Congress and BJP.

Rama Rao said the BRS drew its strength from the people and would continue to fight for their rights, welfare and development. He asked party leaders and workers to remain active on public issues and strengthen the party in Khanapur in coordination with Johnson Naik.
