Congress appoints Thirunavukkarasar as election observer in Telangana

The All India Congress Committee (AICC) late on Tuesday appointed its Thiruchirapalli MP Subburaman Thirunavukkarasar as an observer for the ensuing Assembly elections in Telangana.

In a release, AICC general secretary

(organisation) K.C. Venugopal said the appointment would come into effect immediately. Thirunavukkarasar is a former Tamil Nadu Congress president and has previously served as AICC secretary.
