Collector Inspects Crop Damage In Mahbubabad 'Cyclone Murasu'

District Collector Sneha Shabarish visited paddy and cotton fields damaged by Cyclone Murasu on Wednesday.

According to reports, hundreds of acres of paddy fields were waterlogged due to heavy rains triggered by the cyclone, causing damage to crops. Cotton fields were also affected in several areas.

The Collector



interacted with farmers and enquired about the extent of crop damage. She inspected the affected fields and assessed the situation. Farmers explained the losses they had suffered due to the waterlogging.

The visit aimed to assess the damage caused to agricultural fields and understand the problems faced by farmers following the heavy rains.
