The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced a series of peaceful protests across the country as part of its campaign highlighting issues in the education system.
According to the schedule shared on its social media platforms, a protest will be held at Dharna Chowk in Hyderabad on June 14 at 10 am. On the same day, another demonstration is planned at Freedom Park in Bengaluru at 4 pm. The protests will continue on June 15 at Shaheed Smarak in Jaipur at 3 pm, followed
by a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on June 20.
Addressing a press conference in Pune, the party’s founding president, Abhijeet Dipke, said the organisation would also release its education manifesto alongside the launch of the movement.
“We are starting our nationwide protest from today at SPPU. The protest will be peaceful and within the framework of the Constitution. Today, we will be releasing our education manifesto,” he said.
