CM Revanth to Distribute New Ration Cards on Aug 15

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will distribute newly sanctioned and laminated Public Distribution System (PDS) ration cards on August 15 on the occasion of 79th Independence Day. In an office memorandum, Minister for Irrigation, Food & Civil Supplies, N. Uttam Kumar Reddy said the Chief Minister has approved the programme schedule for the State-wide launch. 

The State-level inaugural function will be held at



Sangareddy, where the Chief Minister will formally commence the distribution of the new ration cards.

Simultaneously, similar distribution programmes shall be organized in all the 119 Assembly Constituencies across Telangana. In every constituency, the programme shall be coordinated by a designated Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), with all necessary support from the District Administration and the Civil Supplies Department.
