Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday slammed the former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) for neglecting the Palamuru region during the BRS regime.

He was speaking after inaugurating rythu mela and industrial expo at Kodangal. He said KCR failed to render justice to the region in agriculture and industrial sectors and alleged that despite a Telangana budget with over Rs.20 lakh crore in ten years, the key irrigation projects including Bheema and Palamuru were not

completed.

The SLBC and Sitarama projects were neglected by allocating huge funds for only Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project, leaving aside the Pranahita-Chevella project.

Revanth Reddy said that the Congress leader Sonia Gandhi fulfilled the aspiration of the people with the formation of Telangana state. He alleged that KCR had been expected to do justice to the Palamuru region after the formation of the state, but he neglected it and failed to complete the key irrigation projects.
