Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to set up a 'Musi Experience Centre' here to raise people's awareness on the Musi riverfront project taken up by the state government.
He said the proposed centre, to be established at the Necklace Road around Hussain Sagar lake, should reflect various aspects of the rejuvenation project. He suggested that officials establish a system to gather feedback from the visitors.
Reddy, who held a meeting with officials on the first phase of the Musi riverfront
project, also directed that the government's double-bedroom houses be allotted to those living in the riverbed as part of the rehabilitation project, an official release said late on Friday night.
He instructed that either Transferable Development Rights (TDR) or compensation be offered to land owners for land acquisition.
He also directed that the structures in defence lands where the proposed Gandhi Sarovar Project would come up should be relocated by the state government to avoid delays in project execution.
