Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday participated in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Kodangal by submitting his SIR form.
The Chief Minister personally filled in the required details and handed over the form to the Booth Level Officers (BLOs). Revanth Reddy urged people to remain alert about the SIR process and ensure that their names are included in the electoral rolls by completing the registration process.
Addressing the BLAs meeting, Revanth Reddy alleged that the BJP and the BRS
were conspiring against him. He claimed that although the two parties are different, they share a common objective.
The two opposition parties were hatching a conspiracy to undermine his political grip on Kodangal in a bid to weaken his stronghold at the state level. Revanth Reddy alleged that some people were trying to manipulate the electoral rolls by attempting to remove the names of eligible voters.
He said that 78 per cent of voters in Kodangal had completed the SIR process, while the remaining 22 per cent were yet to enrol.
