Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy stated that his government is functioning with the inspiration of freedom fighter Ravi Narayana Reddy.
Speaking at an event organised by the Martyrs Memorial Trust in Hyderabad on Monday, the Chief Minister presented the prestigious Ravi Narayana Reddy National Award to Justice B. Sudarshan Reddy.
Drawing a sharp contrast between the values of the past and present, the Chief Minister
launched a scathing attack on the previous BRS regime and the K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) family.
"Ravi Narayana Reddy was a rare leader who voluntarily retired from politics at the age of 60. In contrast, today's leaders are unable to let go of their lust for power, even after being rejected by the electorate," the CM remarked.
He directly targeted the KCR family, alleging that they monopolised all key positions in the state.
