In view of heavy rains lashing across the State, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has issued instructions to all district Collectors to remain on high alert.

The Chief Minister, who is currently in New Delhi, held discussions with officials from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

He directed that all departments work in coordination to ensure that people do not face any inconvenience in areas affected by the heavy rains, and that appropriate relief measures be taken in low-lying

areas.

Since rains are occurring not only in Greater Hyderabad but across all districts of the state, he instructed that people in areas with overflowing lakes and tanks and in flood-prone zones, be alerted and kept safe.

In districts where heavy rainfall is forecasted, the Chief Minister asked the district Collectors to continuously review the situation in coordination with all departments. He emphasized that all necessary precautions must be taken to prevent any loss of life or property.
