Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday invited Singapore companies to invest in Telangana, assuring prospective investors of the state government's support. 

A Singapore delegation led by Augustine Lee, Permanent Secretary of the Energy Market Division under Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry, met the Chief Minister at the Assembly. During the meeting, the Singapore representatives expressed their willingness to set up a semiconductor industry in Telangana, an official release said.

the Singapore companies to set up their manufacturing units in Telangana, Reddy assured that his government would extend full support to their investments in the state, it said.

The representatives responded positively regarding the investment proposals, it said. The CM briefed the delegation on major development projects undertaken by the state government and sought financial support of the Singapore. The state government invited the Singapore delegation to attend the 'Telangana Global Summit' to be organised by it in December this year, it said.
