CM Revanth Reddy announces memorial park for poet Ande Sri

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced that the State government would establish a memorial park in memory of late poet Ande Sri and provide a job to one of his family members.

The State government had written a letter to the Union government appealing to confer the Padma Shri award on Ande Sri, he said, urging Union Ministers Kishan



Reddy and Bandi Sanjay to extend their support to the State government’s effort to secure the award for the late poet.

The Chief Minister attended the last rites of Ande Sri, who passed away on Monday.

He recalled the role played by the popular writer and poet during the Telangana struggle through his songs and poems.
