CM Revanth Hails Manmohan Singh as Architect of Modern India

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday remembered former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on his birth anniversary and hailed him as an architect of modern India. 

On the occasion, Revanth Reddy is scheduled to unveil Dr Manmohan Singh’s statue at Wipro Circle in Gachibowli, in the heart of Hyderabad’s IT corridor and said the growth around the area was linked to the economic reforms he initiated in 1991.

message shared on X, "A grateful state honours a humble, visionary son of India,” Revanth Reddy said. The Chief Minister also recalled Dr Manmohan Singh’s role during the process of Telangana state formation, saying that the statehood dream was achieved during his tenure as Prime Minister. “Dr Manmohan Singh Ji, from Chief Economic Adviser, Governor of RBI, to Finance Minister and then finally, Prime Minister of India, he is an architect of Modern India,” Revanth Reddy said.
