Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday said that the Congress government is giving equal priority to welfare and development, asserting that the state is implementing schemes unmatched elsewhere in the country.
Addressing the Telangana Formation Day celebrations at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad, the Chief Minister extended greetings to the people and said Telangana society would not tolerate autocracy or domination.
He thanked former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress leader Sonia
Gandhi for fulfilling the dream of Telangana statehood. Citing poet Kaloji?s ideals, he said the government has been working for the welfare of the state since assuming office and has successfully met people?s aspirations over the past 30 months.
Highlighting employment generation, Revanth Reddy said over 67,000 government jobs have been filled transparently without legal disputes. He added that more job notifications in departments such as engineering, PCB, forest, town planning and education will be released soon through TSPSC.
