CM KCR to visit Yadadri today

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is all set to have a hectic week ahead, commencing with his visit to Yadadri on Monday. He will be busy with outstation programmes for the next one week.

The Chief Minister is scheduled to visit Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Yadadri to inspect the temple renovation works which are nearing completion. He will discuss and finalise the arrangements for the Sudarshana Yagam and other arrangements including the temple cleansing. The week-long ceremony of the temple reopening is scheduled to be held from March 22 to 28.

Dignitaries from political, administrative, executive, business, religious and other fields as well as scores of devotees from various walks of life are expected to throng the temple town during the reopening ceremony. Accordingly, the officials have been asked to make necessary arrangements.

On February 11, Chandrashekhar Rao will tour Jangaon district and inaugurate the integrated collectorate complex as well as the district office of the Telangana Rasthra Samithi (TRS). Later, he will address a public



meeting. He is also likely to hold a review meeting on developmental activities in the district.

The Chief Minister will accompany President Ram Nath Kovind during the latter’s visit to Hyderabad and unveiling of the inner chamber of the statue of Sri Ramanuja at Sri Ramanagaram in Muchintal on February 13. He will also participate in various religious rituals during the event.

Further, the Chief Minister is likely to inaugurate the much-awaited Police Command and Control Centre in Banjara Hills on February 15. All the major works have been already completed and the remaining works will be completed in the next couple of days. The Command and Control Centre will enable the police authorities to monitor the crime situation in the State using a massive CCTV network.

Sources in the Chief Minister’s Office stated that Chandrashekhar Rao was also expected to visit the world’s largest tribal congregation of Samakka Saralamma Jathara on February 18 and make offerings. However, the tour is yet to be finalised.
