Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is gearing up to perform yet another Yagam in Erravalli from January 21. KCR on Wednesday visited his farmhouse to oversee the arrangements being made for the Sahasra Chandi Yagam.

The yagam is being carried out with the blessings of Bharati Tirthaswami of Sringeri Sharada Peetham. Around 200 rithviks will participate in the yagam. However, it is still not known if the people or devotees are allowed to it.

KCR had performed Ayutha Chandi yagam in 2015 after the forming the government in the newly formed state. Later in 2018, he performed Rajasyamala yagam before the assembly elections in Telangana.
