Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday instructed the officials to organise training programmes for the sarpanchs and upasarpanchs elected in the ongoing panchayat elections to help them in shaping the villages.  

Mr Rao asked the officials to involve the Telangana Rural Development Institute,



Administrative Staff College of India, MCRHRD institute of Telangana and other similar organisations in the training.

The CM also laid stress on developing greenery and sanitation in villages and explaining to the elected representatives the Panchayat Raj Act.
