Rajanna Sircilla: Chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao inaugurated series of projects including the first ever Institute of Driving, Training and Research (IDTR) in the State, during his whirlwind tour to Rajanna Sircilla district on Sunday. He had also inaugurated the double bedroom dignity housing project at Mandepalli village in Tangallapalli mandal of Sircilla Assembly constituency.

The Chief Minister arrived at Mandepalli village by road and inaugurated the 1,320 two-bedroom apartments housing project for families from economically weaker sections. He handed over the house pattas to some beneficiaries and also participated in the house warming ceremony along with a beneficiary Annaladasu Ruchitha Srihari.

Chandrashekhar Rao had also inaugurated the first ever IDTR in the State at Mandepalli. The IDTR has been established at a cost of Rs 16.48 crore. The high-tech driving school, with simulators, will cater not only to Telangana but to all southern states as it will impart qualitative heavy driving training and practices to drivers. 

Later, he inaugurated the government nursing college at Sircilla where he interacted with the nursing students on their education and hostel facilities. He had also inaugurated a modern agriculture market yard located at Sardapur village on the outskirts of Sircilla, and is scheduled to open the district collectorate complex. Later, he is likely to interact with the local elected representatives at the newly inaugurated collectorate complex.
