CM KCR greets people on Sankranti

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday extended greetings to people and farmers of Telangana on the occasion of Makara Sankranti. He said the Sun entering the ‘Makara Rasi’ marking the commencement of ‘Uttharayanam’ was an auspicious time, and wished that all the people should be blessed with riches, happiness and



prosperity.

Chandrashekhar Rao said agriculture will remain a priority for the State government and notwithstanding any hardships the government is committed to ensure prosperity of farmers. He urged people to celebrate Sankranti strictly following Covid-19 guidelines.
