CM KCR grants 30 pc wage hike for NREGA staff

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday said the staff of NREGA other than field assistants, will also get 30 per cent hike in salaries against the previous hike of 20 per cent. Recently the Chief Minister offered 30 per cent hike to SERP staff and 20 per cent hike to NREGA staff.



Since the 20 per cent hike is not more, KCR reconsidered and increased it on par with SERP staff. 

NREGA field assistants’ salaries were hiked to Rs 10,000 from the previous Rs 6,000. With this, the staff of SERP and NREGA will get an equal pay hike.
